Loved the hotel - beautiful styling, great facilities. Room gorgeous, clean and well presented, very comfy huge bed, spectacular view. Great to have a mini bar and coffee machine. Bathroom spotless, shower was powerful and hot.

Gym was exceptionally well equipped and the breakfast was very good, lots of variety and good value at €20. Secure bike storage facilities and underground parking was a real bonus. 5 minute walk to tram stop or 15 mins to the old town.

This is a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The staff were so professional and helpful. Lucia looked after us so well in the restaurant. She was so polite, kind and helpful. We really appreciated her professionalism. The food was absolutely delicious and served generously. The choice of the decor is modern and the ambience delightful. Parking facilities are excellent and access is easy. The location of the hotel is superb as it is only a short walking distance to the city centre. We really look forward to another stay in this hotel.

From the second u walk in the door, u know staying in this hotel is a great choice. We loved everything…the decor, the handy parking, the bus stop to city centre only outside the hotel door, the lobby area, the dining hall, the bedroom…. The food was amazing…..this hotel definitely should win an award for most extensive breakfast in the world…..the open kitchen with ur pancakes made in front of you…..but we think the super ingredient this hotel has is it’s brilliant staff, all so friendly/happy/ efficient/nothing is a problem. We have stayed in a lot of hotels. We are not the easiest to manage with two teens, one with severe autism. Also we were there during heatwave- lovely air con, lovely pillows in beds, we booked this hotel when we saw a “superb” rating but if there is a higher rating it is deserved for this hotel. We would go again anytime. Amazing views from our floor to ceiling windows in our bedroom

We stayed here for 8 nights. Originally it was 7 but we decided to stay another night which is testimony to how good this hotel is. A 10 minute walk from the Old Town which is good for getting in some exercise after their AMAZING breakfast. The best yet on our two month European travels. Everything about this hotel is just spot on. Accommodation, big bed and comfortable, very helpful staff, we asked for some places outside of Bilbao to visit and the receptionist came back with lots of information. And that's not an exhaustive list. Lovely cleaning staff, water dispensers, so no plastic bottles need to be bought! A top notch stay. Thank you.

Easy access by car from and to the highway , clean , spacious room , excellent staff , comfortable beds , strong WiFi , clean and large bathroom , water refill fountains in the hallways including sparking water , available parking in the hotel and at public parking behind it (with fees ), easy access to old city by walking and close bus stop . The breakfast buffet is exceptional , one of the best I tried in spain, freshly prepared dishes , variety and flavors. The bakery at the restaurant and the coffee shop deserve a special recognition!

Nice modern hotel. Very good breakfast. Nice cafeteria. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room large and comfy. Very clean. Bathroom huge. Great underground parking although expensive at 18 euros. Overall fit for purpose. Reasonably easy to find and only 20 minutes from the ferry ⛴️

The room was spacious and had all the facilities required for my family of 3. The location again was great. We decided to try and take a bus from the airport and although we did have to change in the city centre the second bus (77), was across the road from the hotel which made it a cost affect way to travel. We landed at the hotel where the staff were very friendly and informative. Although the timing wasn't planned we booked during the festival which was amazing. The hotel is between 10 to 15 minutes from the old town which is beautiful. There was some much going on with entertainment on every street and the people were so friendly. We only had breakfast at the hotel on one day as we wanted to try other local places and get a feel for the culture. Breakfast was excellent in all the places we ate at and the hotel breakfast was amazing with more choice than you could ever need. It was a little expensive compared to other places but worth it for at least one day.

Hotel Gran Bilbao is spacious and things function well. People at the reception are quick and helpful. Thanks also for upgrading me to a big room with a wide view to the hills and mountains surrounding Bilbao. Really appreciated <3 The bed was comfy and the room seemed pretty silent so I slept well. The air-con functioned well. I also loved the filtered water automat in the corridor, just behind my hotel room door (btw. water in Bilbao is tasty everywhere!) Breakfast is big and super nice. I stayed for 4 nights and ate so much every morning that I could easily stroll around the city until late in the afternoon. For the evening, there's also a restaurant and bar at the hotel but I had no time to try them this time. Next time, then!
